Morals & Ethics TimBuKuTu Afrikan & Caribbean Food & Drink Show

Moral / Ethical policy

We trade under the direction of our Afrikan philosophy of
Ubuntu/Biakoye.

It acknowledges that all humans are interconnected as
humanity and what I do must help us all.

Therefore all our activities must be truthful, righteous, and
done with a sense of justice and reciprocity.

It must be conducted with the thought,
"I am because we are".

This creates a process of actions in production based
on using the following:

Acceptance of observing and working with 'taboos' to
maintain harmony with the environment.

Product traceability and sustainability schedules,

No preservatives,
100% natural ingredients,

No exploitation of child labour, forced labour,
human trafficking including slave, prison, bonded labour
or indentured servitude in supply/distribution chain,
People centered and not solely profit centered,

Build relationships based on the 3C's i.e.
communal, collective and co-operative.

Fair exchange to help eliminate poverty -
each one cares for each other.

Afilliated selling - selling on behalf of someone
must be done at 25-30% commission.

"..Wishing you an exciting and joyful time in the spirit of Ubuntu/Biakoye.."
